Last year, Tiger Woods was forced to cancel his "Tiger Jam" event because of the growing distractions from his failing marriage and reported relationships with at least a dozen women. This year, the festivities were back on as Woods looks to rebuild his life and get things back in order.

Nearly 18 months after his penchant for porn stars and cocktail waitresses exploded into the headlines, Tiger Woods has returned to Las Vegas, the place where he met some of his rumoured women of choice.

The 35-year-old golfer hit the Vegas Strip this weekend to host Tiger Jam, his annual Tiger Woods foundation fund raiser.

And in true Tiger form he wasn't alone, although last night the golfer was surrounded by male musicians instead of an array of buxom beauties.



Woods reportedly rang in the event to a stadium full of empty seats. But as Woods returns to Sin City, should be concerned? The former No. 1 golfer hanging out in Vegas sounds like trouble waiting to happen. He is clearly still trying to recover psychologically from the end of his marriage and kontol physically from a set of injuries that has affected his golf game.

But Woods claims to have just spent his weekend hanging with musician John Mayer and staying out of trouble. Woods said via Twitter: "Big night at the tables with Mayer. He's cool. We both walked away winners."
