When I first began my MBA project I imagined it would be straightforward. Pick a topic, do some research, write it out and submit. Easy. Stress is inevitable. deadlines, corrections, and insufficient data can be a burden. Some nights I stared at the computer screen, feeling as if I'd never have time to finish.
Short breaks help. Friends talking, going for a stroll, listening to music. Reward small successes. Completely completing a literature review or the data collection process are significant milestones. They help keep the enthusiasm alive.
Students are often confused about how much help is allowed. You can ask for guidance but not have someone write your project. Ethical guidance includes feedback on structure, methodology and clarity. The original work is yours to keep.
Inquiring for help doesn't signify cheating. It is beneficial to use the resources available. Teachers will expect students take advantage of assistance if they're stuck.
